Volleyball is one of the world’s most popular sports and is played by more than 800 million people worldwide. It is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team’s court under organized rules.
Darkstar, who are partnered with Derby University, are the only Volleyball Club in Derby. They provide opportunity for all to play from juniors through to adults, absolute beginners to National League players. Aside from weekly recreational sessions, our junior and four adult teams compete in junior, social, regional & national leagues.

To try Volleyball you will need to wear comfortable sports gear and trainers, and bring with you some water and a sweat towel. For your first visit please turn up 10 minutes before the session starts.
